CLIMAD-CM launches its new website
We are pleased to announce the launch of the website of CLIMAD-CM (Economic and Social Effects of Climate and Energy Policies), a joint research program funded by the Regional Government of Madrid and the European Social Fund for the period 2025–2028.
CLIMAD-CM brings together researchers from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, CEMFI, and CUNEF to develop and apply advanced methodologies for evaluating the design of climate and energy policies and their socio-economic impacts. The project adopts an interdisciplinary approach, combining insights from microeconomics, microeconometrics, macroeconomics, and political economy to address the challenges posed by climate change and the energy transition.
The program is organized around four main research areas: policies to promote renewable energy, the socio-economic impacts of green investments, the macroeconomic effects of the energy transition, and the political economy of green taxation.
The new website provides information about the project’s objectives, participating institutions and researchers, activities, publications, and news.
