Natalia Fabra at the European Commission’s Blueprint Conference
Professor Natalia Fabra will participate in the Blueprint Conference – Clean, Just and Competitive: A Blueprint for Europe’s Economies and Societies, hosted by Executive Vice-President Teresa Ribera and organised by the European Commission (DG Competition) on 29 January 2026 in Brussels, with live streaming available.
The conference focuses on the European Commission’s priorities on climate change, economic growth, inequality, and long-term sustainability, and brings together policymakers, academics, and other experts to discuss possible EU policy responses at what is widely seen as a turning point for Europe’s economy and society.
Discussions will be organised around four main themes:
Better and more equal business conditions;
A clean, sustainable and resilient Europe;
Competition policy for our economies and societies;
Fairness and standards in the EU and in global markets.
Professor Fabra will take part in Session Two: “A Clean, Sustainable and Resilient Europe”, joining a panel discussion following a keynote by Mariana Mazzucato (University College London), together with Fatih Birol (Executive Director, IEA), and moderated by Barbara Moens (Financial Times).
Further information, including the full programme and access to the live stream and recordings, is available on the European Commission’s website.
