ENERGEIA Website Now Live!
We are pleased to share that the website for ENERGEIA is now live, and can be found at this link!
ENERGEIA is a web-based platform that simulates electricity market outcomes and evaluates the economic and environmental implications of low-carbon investments. The software, developed by researchers at EnergyEconLab, is based on an oligopoly model that replicates key important features of real-world wholesale electricity markets.
ENERGEIA allows users to explore how prices, generation patterns, firm behavior, and emissions evolve under different regulatory and technological scenarios, and to assess the financial performance of assets such as renewable energy plants, storage systems, hydrogen electrolyzers, data centers, and electric vehicles. The platform will continue to evolve, as new functionalities are added and new applications are explored.
- A clear overview of ENERGEIA’s core capabilities,
- Sample research application from recent academic work,
- And a limited-access demo for new users
